These are my Highlight Compression Tools for working with .exr from Blender.

Because Blender saves the .exr without Tonemapping and Highlight Compression,

it is hard to get your Look right in Affinity Photo.

For a quick workaround, you can use these Presets to care for your Overbrights in 32bit Images

and handle them in an artistic way without the hassle of OCIO/Luts/ICC conversion.

From an mathematical point, these conversions should be wrong because we skip the proper conversions

with Linear/Srgb, but this gives you an easy way to get close to your look without diving too deep into a color managed workflow.

So see this more as an artistic tool than a proper conversion.

How to Install: Create an Synthetic Texture Layer, go to Presets and import each file.

How to use: Create a Synthetic Texture Layer, choose the Preset of your liking and adjust the Opacity for the amount of Highlight Compression.

Reinhard = Vray

Corona = the old Corona Highlight Compression

Hable = Last of Us 2 Filmic from John Hable
